Disappointing but I saw it coming and I know Mike is a restless soul who needs to stand strong and alone so I too wish him the best, but I was also very excited like many others to imagine a new bones brigade with original members
mikes changed his sponsors (boards, shoes, trucks...) more than any skateborder in the industry...wtf??? who would even take him at this point knowing he will jump ship in 3 months?
Best of luck to Mike Vallely.Maybe back to Label,Element or maybe his own company.?Id love to see his own brand started and succeed.Hes tried so hard for so long at owning a brand.

It's a shame; Mike V's Heart always seemed to be in the right place. Not to sure about his Head. Still one of my Faves of all time.

sorry to say and see such a legend be a joke on himself. no respect, not even progressing. jumping sponsors every two three months, i guess hes looking to cash in, but it is not working.
he stopped progression years ago, still skates like early 90s, sorry to say.

Yes Mike has been an inovative skateboarder a long time. However the secret to longevity in any industry is patience and focus on the big picture. With the release of the Bones Brigade video his residuals and appearance moneys would have been huge. It is unfortunate Mike is so independent he will miss out on the very thing which made the Bones team special.
Nobody cares. Guy's a kook. He embarrasses skateboarding with his dumb antics. He should start a company called Wrestlehockeysponsorhopper.
huge disappointment. mike is my favorite skater and i always thought he belonged on powell-peralta. you guys have the best products, & the best graphics.
I read Mikes Blog and you all should read about why he left Powell. Powell Peralta has always been part of my life as a youth and now 35 with a son that skates. They have business practices that are suspect, but the memory of the past, the films the original crew is what I hold dear noe. The business side sucks, let the spirit of of what Powell Peralta was and skateboarding live on.
